Cleaning
We recommend using XPEL Rinse Free Car Wash on a weekly basis for exterior cleaning to minimize the build-up of contaminants. To prevent streaking and water spots, avoid washing in direct sunlight.
Washing from the roof down allows you to leave the dirtiest areas last, preventing cross-contamination. For a more glossy finish, follow up with XPEL Detail Spray and XPEL Ceramic Boost.
We recommend XPEL Interior Cleaner for interior cleaning on leather, plastics, and non-fabric surfaces (as needed). For fabric areas, we suggest vacuuming and utilizing a clean dry microfiber dusting cloth.
Before applying XPEL Interior Cleaner, please read the instructions carefully and test in an inconspicuous area.
Drying
It's important to dry the outside surfaces completely with a clean, soft, lint-free microfiber towel or air blower.
Never allow water to evaporate on its own. Tap water includes minerals that leave stains on your coating and cause unwanted water spots.
XPEL Microfiber Towels, which are made to absorb water, provide the highest degree of absorption. Wiping aggressively should be avoided.
Detailing
For outside surfaces, follow the washing and drying processes above. After using XPEL Detail Spray, use XPEL Ceramic Boost (as required) for an extra sheen and slickness.
Avoid utilizing XPEL Detail Spray or the XPEL Ceramic Boost in direct sunlight to minimize streaking and water spotting.
